Mental Health and Wellbeing

Websites for supporting Mental Health and Wellbeing for children, families and carers.

As you might have heard the government have signposted families and schools to new websites to support with at home learning.

I wanted to draw your attention to the SEND toolkit from BBC bitesize (for special education needs support if appropriate to your child's needs) and the Wellbeing lessons supplied.

Home Learning with BBC Bitesize - Wellbeing for Year 5 - BBC Bitesize

This video clip helps explain what teamwork is to your child. Six young children are learning the skills needed to work as a team on a search and rescue challenge.

I am sure there will be more lessons released in the coming weeks.

If you have any concerns and require additional support please use the 'SEND - finding this tricky...' page on the school website for special educational needs and disability support, PSHE and Wellbeing.

Please also contact your child's class teacher, Mr Jarmian the Headteacher or myself the school Inclusion Leader.

I hope you find this helpful.

Kind regards

Emma North
