2021/2022 Mid Year Applications
All mid-year applications should be made directly to the school, using the mid-year application form available below. Mid-year applications (sometimes called in-year applications) are any application for a school place made to a year group, apart from September admissions to Reception. For applications into existing year groups, a place will be offered when the number of pupils in the relevant year group is below the admission number for that year group.
All applications will be considered as and when they are received. If a place is available, the oversubscription criteria will be applied to all applicants (including those on the waiting list) to determine who will be offered a place. Anyone making an application under category 2, 7, 8 or 9 must also submit a Supplementary Information Form (SIF). If a mid-year application is received during a school holiday period, we will respond as soon as possible when the school reopens. Applications made for a new academic year will be process in the second half of the Summer term.
A parent can request their child be added to a waiting list if their application is unsuccessful. A child’s position on the waiting list will be determined by the admissions criteria and may change as other children join or leave the list. If a place at the school becomes available it will be offered to the child that best meets the published admission rules. The waiting list will be kept for every academic year until the end of the summer term. To retain a waiting list application after this time an application must be re-submitted.
Parents who wish their child/ren to start during an academic year should telephone the school office to check availability in the year groups/s they are applying for and to make an appointment to view the school.
