Our Climate Action Plan, developed with Let’s Go Zero, reflects our commitment to caring for God’s creation. It promotes justice by advocating for environmental fairness, responsibility through practical actions, and compassion by raising awareness of global issues. Through this plan, we aim to inspire our school community to live out our Christian Vision and  values and make a positive difference in the world.

1. Commitment to justice and stewardship: St Mary's Climate Action Plan reflects our school's dedication to caring for God's creation and advocating for environmental justice. It shows that the school is actively working to protect the planet for current and future generations, aligning with Christian values of stewardship and responsibility.

2. Promoting responsibility and action: The plan encourages pupils and staff at St Mary's to take responsibility for our  environment, fostering a moral duty to care for creation. It provides opportunities for children to participate in practical actions such as recycling, energy saving, and community projects, nurturing their sense of responsibility.

3. Raising awareness and building moral character: St Mary's Climate Action Plan helps raise awareness among pupils about global issues like climate change. It links to the Christian call to love and care for others and the world, promoting moral development by encouraging children to consider their role in making a positive difference.
